Introducing; Nicola White MBE
An accomplished athlete from an early age, Nicola excelled at most sports but particularly, hockey, athletics, netball and swimming. Despite a bumpy journey to the international scene, Nicola persevered through the challenges and believed her opportunity would come.
Her efforts and performances after a successful two years at U21 level were well rewarded when Nicola received that all important invite into the senior programme and proudly made her senior England debut in June 2009. Putting studies at Loughborough on hold to move to London, Nicola emersed herself in the programme & has since become a key member of the team, going on to win 14 senior medals, including European gold, World Cup bronze, Commonwealth Games Silver, Gold Medal at the Olympic Games 2016, gained 186 international caps, captained the England indoor team & be part of a history making moment for women’s hockey at that memorable night in Rio.
